I was at a food fair recently at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell, www.southhillpark.com and I came across a really interesting food business. The business is called Delights of Tuscany and it is a huge celebration of Italian and more specifically Tuscan food. Deborah who runs the business is described on their website as an honorary Italian, such is her passion for all things Italian. Well, she did live in Florence for fifteen years. As well as a complete range of Italian delicacies including antipasti, they also run Italian cookery classes and taster sessions.
They are based at the Holme Grange Craft Centre, Wokingham, Berkshire (+44 (0)7722 422 039).
Here is the latest information about their classes I received recently:
‘Following the success of our recent fresh pasta classes, we are now adding Italian sauces to our range.
Our Italian chef Orsola will be teaching how to make a trio of sauces which will offer incredible flavours to your everyday cooking. These will include pesto, tomato and besciamella.
The classes will run on Tuesday 21st August and/or Tuesday 28th August from 7pm to 9pm.
The cost of the class is £30 each to include a glass of wine/prosecco or soft drink on arrival as well as sampling a few of our snacks.
The evening will be fun and informal and you will get to take home some notes so that you can re-create the sauces in your own home.
For more details or to book, please call Jacky on 07920 144888 or Deborah on 07722 422039.

I might just have to attend myself 🙂
